Welcome. My name is Gerry, and I’m a permanent Deacon in the Catholic Church. I’m also a husband, blessed with seven adult children who are each finding their own path in life, and at present we have 28 wonderful grandchildren.

I created The Sower as a place to share some of the things that have informed, inspired and encouraged me along the way. Think of this site as a little patch of ground where a few seeds can be scattered that others may find helpful on their own journey of faith.
